Our work is supported entirely by the generous support of caring individuals, churches and community groups. We receive no state funding.

Through the work of conscientious volunteers, we can accomplish much more.

Become A Foster Parent

The greatest need these children have is for a safe home with caring, compassionate parents.

HIRING PROCESS FOR FOSTER PARENTS: The parents have to be active members of the church of Christ for at least 2 years. Their faithfulness must be verified with a letter from an elder or the preacher of their congregation and at least two references.

• Both the husband and wife must be licensed by one of the agencies. This consists of MAPP training and clearance by the State of Florida.
• Complete the application for Christian Homes for Children, Inc.
• Complete an interview with the Executive Director and one of the Board Members, preferably the President of the Board.
• If accepted by the Board, sign the Parental Agreement that exists between Christian Homes for Children and our foster parents.

Make In-Kind Donations

You can donate items such as clothing, computers, software or books. We are always in need of supplies so we welcome any donation. Please call our office to make arrangements.

Spread the Word

More people need to be made aware of the problem facing children right here in Florida. You can let others know that their help is needed also.
